Kapiolani Community College is proud to offer students a unique opportunity to study Korean language and culture at Soonchunhyang University. Located in the beautiful province of Chungnam, South Korea. The region boasts of beautiful mountains and is near historical cultural attractions.

Established in 1978, Soonchunhyang University campus is located in a rural town on the central west coast of South Korea. Soonchunhyang University offers its students the flexibility to experience academic education in a wide range of fields; priding itself in its International Cultural Studies, Theatre and Film, and Educational Science programs, as well as other areas of discipline within Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Engineering and Medicine. Soonchunhyang University is also known for its excellent Foreign Language Education Center and the Hyangseol Memorial Library.

Date: One Semester to One Academic Year
Tuition: Full Scholarship
Room: Full Waiver
Stipend: 150,000 Won/wk (about $125/wk)
Airfare: Reimbursed up to $800

Who Should Apply?

• Students who are enrolled at any one of the UH System campuses.
• GPA requirement: Minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.50
• Korean language ability NOT required.
