Career counseling will help you examine your interest, skills, life values, and give you pertinent information about career and academic pathways. MKC has resources such as career inventories, computerized career information systems, career development workshops, program information sessions, and transfer workshops that can assist with your decision-making. If you have an academic plan based on a career goal you will have an easier time selecting courses each semester. The career will define the major or program of study you should follow and the program of study outline the courses required.
