Veteran Certification
Non-passing Grades
If you receive a non-passing grade in a course, you may need to repay VA for the course(s) you did not pass. Repayment may be required if the person utilizing VA benefits stopped attending class resulting in the non-passing grade.
If you receive an “NC” (no credit), “NP” (not passed) or “W” (withdrawal), the VA may require that you repay any benefits which they advanced to you for that course, unless mitigating circumstances are involved. If mitigating circumstances apply, you must submit a letter to KISC - VA stating the reasons the grade was received.
