Yes, if you are patient; have good physical stamina, excellent interpersonal and well-developed problem-solving skills, compassion, and sensitivity; interest in science and technology; and the ability to follow instructions. Is certification available?
No. Program graduates may practice as a PTA in Hawai`i and are eligible to take licensure examinations in other states.

What degrees and certificates do you offer?
The associate in science (AS) degree.

Do I need to maintain a certain grade and grade point average in these courses?
Yes. For an AS, you must earn:

  • a grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 (ā€œCā€ average) or higher for all required courses and
  • a grade of ā€œCā€ or better in all required courses.

When can I enter the program?
You can enter in the summer only.
