Short-Term Training Program

Overview

The University of Hawaii - Kapiolani Community College (KCC) offers academic packages and services to meet the growing demands of a rapidly changing world. Through a 10-campus network, we deliver hundreds of customized education and training courses for a variety of purposes serving the academic and experiential needs of universities, colleges, government agencies and specialty industries throughout the world.

Short-Term Training Programs are adaptable to the precise needs of the requesting institution and focus on a variety of areas such as intensive and specialized English training as well as training in other disciplinary areas akin to business, hospitality, culinary arts, information technology, health science and wellness programs, teacher training and the like fields of academic interest. Each program is entirely customized and designed to provide participants with an intensive learning experience that caters to the academic and experiential needs specific to each group.

Short-Term Training Programs are typically designed for 2 to 4 weeks at a group size of roughly 15 or more students although all inquiries are welcome. Visiting institutions are required to provide one escort or chaperone per customized program, depending upon the size of the group.
