Eligibility:
  • Beginner & Intermediate language level
  • Must have completed High School
  • Must have a current minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • Must be a currently registered student in the UH System.  See application details for further information.

  • March 31, 2008 - Balance of program cost due to CEA (by 2 p.m. Hawaii Time)
  • Departure: TBD
  • KCC Tuition Deadline - it is strongly advised to pay by May 23, 2008

Application Instructions

1.  Be accepted to KCC or other University Hawaii campus.

In order to participate in the study abroad program, you must first be accepted into KCC or one of the other University of Hawaii campuses.   If you are not a student in the University of Hawaii System, you must apply to Kapi’olani Community College by April 30, 2008.   Because the KCC Aix Program deadline is Mar. 14, 2008, it is advisable to apply to KCC before or by Mar. 1, 2008.

2.  Apply to the KCC program through CEA.

Online applications: Complete the online application for the KCC group program through CEA’s website at www.gowithcea.com/kcc.html.

Passport & Immigration Information

Passport:  It is the applicant’s responsibility to possess a passport valid for at least 6 months after the program departure date.  Apply for a passport early because it can take up to six weeks.  There is a passport office on the KCC campus, 112 Olapa Building, 734-9258.  For more information go to  www.Travel.State.gov.
