Chungbuk National University 2-Week Korean Language Program
Chungbuk National University (CBNU) offers a two-week Korean language and culture program. CBNU is located in the middle of South Korea and is the prestigious university in the region. CBNU is also the leading university in Cheongju City, Chungbuk, in the area of Information Technology. This program is designed to help students understand Korea through experiencing various cultural activities. The fee for tuition and dormitory is waived for the UHCC students.
Outline of Program
- 2 week program: Monday – Friday / 4 hour per day (09:00 – 12:50)
- Total 40 hours
- About 15 students per class
- Airfare, living expenses, and textbook are to be paid by the students
- Tuition & dormitory fee is waived
Who Should Apply?
- Students who are enrolled at any one of the UHCC campuses.
- Minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.50
- Korean language courses NOT required
Application Materials
- Complete application form (with one photo)
- Two letters of recommendation from UH/UHCC faculty and/or administrator
- Passport copy (or ID card copy)
- Official transcript(s)
Application Deadline
Application materials scholarship must be received no later than March 21, 2008.
